Getting Here

The easiest way to get to us is to fly to Aktion Airport, Preveza (PVK).

You can also fly to Athens (ATH) and transfer to Lefkada Island (approx. 5hrs).

We can arrange transfers from the airports.

Typical Days

Our walking trails each day are between 2-hours to 3-hours (or longer if you prefer) and range from are easy to moderate, offering a mix of coastal walks, walks through olive groves, walks past the many historical sites, visits to caves, small villages, fishing ports, churches, beaches and bays.

Spend the days walking, swimming, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, snorkeling, relaxing and sunbathing on the catamaran.

Nights are spent enjoying dinners at local tavernas and maybe a drink or two at one of the cocktail bars.


Itinerary Example

The following is an example itinerary, each week is different and the order of the islands will depend on weather etc.


Day 1 : Transfer to Sivota, Lefkada and board our catamaran (from 4pm) - Overnight Lefkada Island.

Day 2 : Cruise to Meganisi Island -- Walk Meganisi Island - Overnight Meganisi Island.

Day 3 : Cruise to Kalamos Island -- Walk Kalamos Island - Overnight Kalamos Island.

Day 4 : Cruise to Kastos Island -- Walk Kastos Island - Overnight Kastos Island.

Day 5 : Cruise to Ithaca Island -- Walk Ithaca Island - Overnight Ithaca Island.

Day 6 : Walk Ithaca Island -- Cruise to Meganisi Island - Overnight Meganisi Island.

Day 7 : Walk Meganisi Island -- Cruise to Sivota, Lefkada Island - Overnight Lefkada Island.

Day 8 : Transfer to and depart Aktion Airport, Preveza (PVK).

The order of the itinerary may change, each day we look at the weather and local activities to decide the best island.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival

Arrive in Sivota, Lefkada and board Catamaran 'JOY'.

You can arrive at our Catamaran 'JOY' at any time after 4pm, we can help arrange transfers if required.

Lefkada Island is located between Corfu Island and Kefalonia Island and is surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea. The island has a dramatic landscape with vertical rocky cliffs, mountainous areas with valleys and gorges leading to some beautiful, traditional and friendly Greek villages.

The catamaran will be ready at around 4pm, if you arrive early there are beaches and several tavernas where you can relax.

We will get you settled onto the catamaran and you can spend some time enjoying the area with its small local beaches, mini-markets, shops, water-front tavernas and cocktail bars. In the evening enjoy dinner at a stunning family run Greek Taverna.

Day 2 : Cruise to Meganisi Island - Walk Meganisi Island

Cruise to Meganisi Island -- Walk Meganisi Island - Overnight Meganisi Island.

In the morning we enjoy breakfast on the catamaran before we head towards Meganisi Island, stopping along the way in one of the bays to enjoy the amazing clear blue waters.

When we arrive we head off on a walking trail that heads through the port of Vathy and towards Port Atheni, home to local fishing boats. The trail follows along the coast to Elia Beach, where we can stop for a swim or just enjoy the remote beach. We then continue on towards Katomeri, enjoying panoramic views across to Kalamos Island and the mountains of mainland Greece.

The quaint village of Katomeri has a maze of narrow streets, with vibrant colourful flowers decorating the traditional stone houses and offers stunning views over the port of Vathy. After spending some time enjoying the atmosphere of the village, we walk back down towards the village of Vathy.

Tonight we stay at a private beach front taverna where you can relax on the beach or under the trees. The bay is perfect for snorkelling, swimming and paddleboarding. In the evening enjoy an evening meal at the private beach front taverna with amazing food.

Day 3 : Cruise to Kalamos Island - Walk Kalamos Island

Cruise to Kalamos Island -- Walk Kalamos Island - Overnight Kalamos Island.

After breakfast we depart Meganisi Island and head towards Kalamos Island stopping in one of the small bays or beaches for a swim, to paddleboard or to kayak.

Kalamos Island is a mountainous island known for its luscious vegetation and tall vertical pine trees which grow right up to the coastline with beaches of smooth white pebbles leading into the clear blue sea.

Today we start our walking trail from Episkopi on the north of Kalamos Island. Highlights of this walking trail includes the Venetian Castle of Kalamos from 13th century BC, Greek Chapels, windmills, forested areas and the quaint village of Kalamos.

If you want to extend your walk you can continue the loop to the amazing Agrapidia beach with its old seafront windmill and clear blue water where you can have a swim befor heading back to the port of Kalamos.

Kalamos has some fantastic tavernas, coffee shops and small bars. Enjoy dinner at a traditional Greek taverna.

Day 4 : Cruise to Kastos Island - Walk Kastos Island

Cruise to Kastos Island -- Walk Kastos Island - Overnight Kastos Island.

In the morning we head to Kastos Island, the smallest of the islands that we will walk and explore. The island is the least inhabited of the Ionian islands and lies to the east of Kalamos Island.

Starting from the quaint port of Kastos, we follow the coastal road along the east side of the island, enjoying the views of sparkling coastal waters and secluded beaches. We make our way to Agios Emilianos beach and the Fokotrypa Cave. This cave was once a refuge for the Mediterranean Monk Seal.

Following back along the coastal road there are stunning views to be seen of the mountainous mainland. We then venture up through the small picturesque town of Kastos and walk over to the west side of the island to an old Greek windmill. A great view point looking over the Greek Islands of Kalamos, Meganisi, Formicula and Arkoudi.

After the walk enjoy the small town with is tavernas, coffee shops and small winding streets. There is a cocktail bar in a renovated windmill that serves amazing cocktails and offers views towards the mainland of Greece.

In the evening enjoy dinner at one of the local portside tavernas, offering a range of amazing traditional Greek meals.

Day 5 : Cruise to Ithaca Island - Walk Ithaca Island

Cruise to Ithaca Island -- Walk Ithaca Island - Overnight Ithaca Island.

After breakfast we depart Kastos Island and head for Ithaca Island. Ithaca lies to the east of Kefalonia and is famous for its many walking trails including the famous Odysseus trail which passes through centuries old olive groves, stone huts, chapels and windmills leading to different village and fishing ports spread along the amazing rugged coast.

When we arrive we head off for a walk from Filiatro Bay to the capital of Ithca, Vathy. We walk along a paved but lightly used road which is lined on one side with pine and cypress trees and then to the other side offering stunning views of small coves and secluded beaches and bays.

Arriving into Vathy the road descends towards the water’s edge, where there are many cafes and tavernas. We spend some time walking through the narrow town streets, visiting many of the local Greek shops and spending time with the local Greek villagers. After a lovely walk around Vathy, we return to Filiatro bay, where we can enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear water, before returning to the catamaran.

In the evening a meal at a beach-front tavernas before relaxing on the catamaran.

Day 6 : Walk Ithaca Island - Cruise to Meganisi Island

Walk Ithaca Island -- Cruise to Meganisi Island - Overnight Meganisi Island.

In the morning we head toward the small port of Frikes where we will start our walk to the archaeological site of Homer’s Odysseus. Our walking trail follows a quiet paved road passing olive groves and low stone terraces. As you walk, views open back toward Frikes bay and across the sea to Lefkada and the mainland.

We continue the walk to the site of Homer’s Odysseus, which is an archeological site dated back to 1300BC where excavations have revealed a Mycean palatial complex with roads, staircases and drainage systems. The views from this site are amazing and you can see why it was an important location for the legendary Greek king of Ithaka for defending his island.

On our decent we walk through the village of Platrithias along its narrow lanes and stone houses, with tiled roofs and shaded courtyards, back towards the small port of Frikes.

After the walk, we depart Ithaca Island and head to Spilia Bay, Meganisi where there is a stunning beach bar in the bay with crystal clear water. Spend some time swimming, paddleboarding or kayaking before enjoying a cocktail on the sunbeds. In the evening we can enjoy an amazing meal at the family run taverna enjoying the sunset over the islands.

Day 7 : Walk Meganisi Island -- Cruise to Lefkada Island

Walk Meganisi Island -- Cruise to Sivota, Lefkada Island - Overnight Lefkada Island.

Our walking trail today starts from Spilia Bay on Meganisi Island. We make our way up to the stunning village of Spartochori, exploring the village and stopping to admire the views out towards Skorpios, Sparti and Madouri Islands. We then venture along the walking trails along the Meganisi channel and past Tilia Island, where there are spectacular uninterrupted views of Lefkada Island before heading back towards Spilia Bay.

After the walk we depart Meganisi and head back towards Sivota Bay on Lefkada Island. On the way we will stop to explore one of the bays and enjoy the crystal clear water. When we arrive in Sivota Bay, you will have a chance to explore the area and enjoy the fantastic water front tavernas, souvenir shops and maybe have a cocktail or two.

Day 8 : Departure

Departure at 10am (we can help arrange transfers if required).

In the morning if you have time you can take a walk around Sivota Bay.

After breakfast and maybe a last round of souvenir shopping, it's time to say farewell (until the next time).

We have a variety of watersports equipment available on the catamaran including :

A large range of snorkeling equipment in different sizes.

4 x Stand-up paddleboards (SUPs).

(2 of the Stand-up paddleboards can be converted into Kayaks for exploring beaches and bays).

Option 1 : Price for booking the entire catamaran privately for 2,3,4,5 or 6 guests.

Entire Catamaran (2 to 6 guests) : €6,900.

Option 2 : Price for booking by en-suite cabin for 1 or 2 guests.
